Biggest challenge for British-based Mexican food firm

Price hikes and shortage of crops
“The demand of crops can be a problem,” she said. “[If they don’t have a crop there’s a] shortage of supply, which therefore means we would get a price hike.
“But we try to keep things stable and try to forecast and make sure we have stock.”
Peak said planning six-months’ ahead was the best way to overcome any shortage of supply issues.
She also said having a close relationship with farmers and suppliers prevented any problems.
